Bus
This bus was following me at 110kph on the winding nationale in Sophia, at 9pm last tuesday. The bus service was over and the driver was taking the bus back to the station. I could imagine him thinking about the family he was eager to rejoin. In fact I could almost hear his impatient heart beat, see his foot tramp the accelerator, feel his bus ram into my car. Ensuing tears in my eyes forced me me pull over, and the bus hastened further, now free of obstacles.
I happen to park near the bus station, and when I arrived I looked for him, hoping I could perhaps thank him for this very emotional moment. But of course he was long gone, and the bus' engine was cold.
