Yellow
The Riviera is all about colours. Every thing has its own: the sea is blue, olives are black, and household items are yellow. Every little plate, every tablecloth, every curtain comes in yellow. And there's so many shades: dark yellow, lemon yellow, plain yellow, you name it. Moreover, quite often yellow things come with a delightful pattern of olive leafs! Simply sublime. And very useful too:I can go to any shop and buy a tea pot, a tablecloth, anything with my eyes closed, and when I return I'm sure it'll match my other stuff perfectly. So perfect, so Cote d'Azur
